Templar astrolabe and ghosts?

Used the astrolabe but didn't check what mods it added, after a couple maps i realized the quad ghosts weren't normal and on checking the region it was one of the added mods. Is this a bug or normal? Had a look around and it's not listed or talked about anywhere, was next to impossible to complete hah.
As a side note, i also only got 2 reward choices (failed 1 map), is this normal? cheers E: Had a squiz of the orginator memory mods and there is only one "Unique Bosses are Possessed", the mod i saw was on the atlas tooltip (not in map) and mentioned boss area containing 4 ghosts. its the map boss is surrounded by tormented spirits... it spawns multiple ghosts(and is a very dangerous but potentially rewarding one)
if you pay attention you can spec speaker of the dead on the atlas tree(near the top on the far left(left of the lower exarch wheel)... it prevents enemies from being possessed(they will possess you instead) so is a good safety node. |

I understand that much, i didn't think it was a specific astrolabe mod as it was on the atlas tooltip for the region and there is no mention of the astrolab quad ghosting the boss arena. If it was a map mod it would show up on the map/in the area and not on the atlas, i was looking for ghost mods to avoid eh.
