Minions doing no base damage

I have 257% minion damage in my build, level 67, multiple sources of damage and regardless of which character I summon a minion on, they do not have any base damage. I'm playing an elementalist and scaling 4 heralds and the damage is basically non-existant. I used both golems and zombies to test this and both have 0 damage. What is going on?

Heralds are not auras and mostly only affect you. Unhide your characters in your account so we can see what might be happening.

I'm not sure whether you're being literal or hyperbolic. There are mechanics that can interfere with minions dealing damage; e.g. equipping Speaker's Wreath.
