Boss died shortly after I did, could not loot Atlas Points and cannot get them to drop again

On 03/23/26 or 03/22 I entered a Stone Citadel with a Tier15 waystone, full mods, 0 revives, with +1 level Irradiated tablet

I died to a one shot on the boss, but didn't press revive quick enough so my poison killed him after I had already died

I saw 2 green text items drop from it, and it said "Map Complete", but then on my world map it shows as map failed

I cannot re-enter the same Citadel since it shows "Map Failed", and the icon is red, so I found a 2nd Stone Citadel thinking it would drop the atlas points again however they did not drop

My current main Atlas Tree is at 30/40, and all the other sources I can find online like Unique Maps don't have the text that shows "Completing this map will reward more Atlas Points"

Will my character just be stuck at 30/40? Or is there a way for me to find the remaining points again

Citadels go for boss atlas tree, central tree is done by clearing corrupted nexus up to T15 for 30 points then 5 different unique maps for the remaining 10...

If it was a citadel those 2 were probably for the boss tree, so probably 2 books (citadel and map boss level 80 with 0 revives)

How many points you got on boss tree?

My map boss tree is at 8/10, and I've been running exclusively t15 maps with a +1 irradiated book, so maybe that's where my character's tree will be stuck?

I wish there was an in-game way to tell what sources you're missing ; ;

Hopefully they will add it, still a lot of confusion about it and no way to tell what is done.

Try to redo these using 0 revives waystones.
If you use irradiation tablets with T15 make sure you do not allocate "Organised Forces" on the boss tree or maps boss level will be 79 and not 80.

Slaying a Anomaly Map Boss in an area level 79+ Map that has at least 6 Modifiers.

-- Completed with t15, 0 revives, and it dropped this time!! Map bosses is now 10/10!! I'm not sure why it dropped this time, but it was a Copper Citadel instead of Stone.. maybe my other ones didn't have enough mods or something? I'm not sure ; ;

Most likely, glad you did it ;)

0 revives = 6 mods
1 revive = 5 mods
And so on

Since mods from tablets can stack with wastone's mods you better go with 0 revives, unless you want to check the endless list of available mods and count them manually.
