Transfusion Support Confusion
|
I am not sure if this is the intended behavior or not but it seems like the transfusion support is only picking the closest minion instead of a random minion or a minion based on the number of souls each nearby minion has.
Based on the text of the gem I was expecting a random minion to be chosen out of all nearby minions. I hoped it would do a round robin or prioritize the minion with the least souls and was very disappointed to see the current interaction and have shelved a build idea I was looking forward to until the time that this behavior changes. Loving the patch overall just wanted to point this out if it was an oversight. If the closest minion behavior is intentional I would love to see some descriptive text added to the gem clarifying this behavior to keep other people from the same mistake. Thank you for all your hard work. Steps to reproduce the "issue" 1) Equip summon Skitterbots, high level Vitality and Summon Reaper. 2) Link together Automate, Transfusion support and Corrupting Fever. 3) Activate Automation to be spending life and triggering transfusion. 4)Observe as if your Skitterbots are closer to you than the reaper then the beam of soul energy goes to them over the reaper. I have the exact same concern and problem with this support. There is no way to use this unless you only ever have one minion.
I don't think it should prioritize a minion that has the least amount of souls. But just having it randomly pick a nearby minion would make it actually useful. Right now, you can only be used in one minion setups and the downside of having to spend life is pretty mute as sustaining one minion with souls takes only a minimum of 50 life a second. Hopefully we get at least one more round of fixes but we might be out of luck. Edit: If a spectre has died, that spectre can still get souls as well.. Because a dead spectre never tries to attack enemies and has a hitbox of 0 (or very small) that dead spectre will always get the soul due to being the closest minion. If you have a minion that is larger in size, for example guardian turtle and a minion that is smaller, HoAg. When convocation triggers, the smaller minion will be placed ever so slightly closer to the player, making it the only target most of the time due to this as well. hi <3 I stream at twitch.tv/sjatar_ Last edited by Sjatar#1090 on Mar 24, 2026, 1:45:23 AM
