Vaal Blade Flurry not working with Hateforge

Since the release of hateforge in april 2021 the interaction between Hateforge gloves and Vaal Blade FLurry is still either Bugged/Not described correctly.

Normal Behaviour: You get enough Souls to Cast. Press and hold to cast to your liking. The required Soul Cost gets paid Upfront. If you stop channeling you need to collect the souls again.

Interaction with Hatfeorge Gloves: You have enough Rage to pay the Casting cost. You press and hold to channel. The Rage Cost is not spend upfront for the Channel but paid per Second, making it impossible to cast the spell.

This means one of the following:

a) The interaction is simply bugged
b) The interaction works as intended, but is stated nowhere in the tooltips
