Unable to desecrate any items

Until the last couple of weeks desecration worked as intended but now I am unable to desecrate any item in poe2.

I have checked all item types and also have received help where I could not desecrate an item and traded it to a friend who was able to desecrate with the appropriate desecration item.

The error message I receive is "unable to desecrate with this combination of omens".

This message happens on all attempts, even from fresh item bought from a vendor.

Any ideas on what could be the cause?

What omens are you using and how many prefixes and suffixes the item got?
