Can you enable switching between keyboard and controller on the fly?

I want the ability to lean back with a controller for combat and then immediately reach for my mouse to manage a messy inventory.

Seamless transition between M+KB <-> Controller should have been part of the EA since launch imo. And I don't even play w/ a Controller because the UX is just so much worse for me.
Don't get lost by being so focused on the target that you forget to enjoy your surroundings.
