Kind of a loaded question but you could ask the same thing about every other single detrimental mod that exists in the game. Its not meant to be "great". Think its really there for you to make those tough choices and path correctly, pay attention to your explosive placement, risk/reward etc etc.. Thinking of things to add or remove based on "if its fun or not?" You may as well remove death. Thats not fun either. Mash the clean

" That's a good point yeah but total immunity is kinda bad, what about 99% resistance instead? Does a curse even work on it? I was playing warrior that does Physical and fire damage, but they weren't taking any damage at all. I even tried shredding the armour but it didnt change anything. How many of you guys actually read the mods on a waystone every time you run a map?
I like the challenge of facing whatever might come, Same for the Expedition, but this mod making mobs invincible makes it nearly impossible to kill 1 ghoul. I don't like the idea of a mod that should be avoided like the plague. Since stuff like choir of the storm ignores resistance, maybe a mod that was "5000% additional life" would be fair. or it could roll a random number between 1000 and 5000, that would be cool Last edited by TwitchGLHFsport#2155 on Mar 20, 2026, 9:11:02 PM

" Did you understand that you choose mobs to be immune to certain dmg types? " yes I am aware, i still don't like it. I am guessing the time I didn't read it, I hit both physical and fire immunity, which is unfortunate. Another time I was playing pure lightning sorc, then just walked away, portal to home, then equipped a comet to clear them out. I avoid it most of the time, I just think it should be removed. What's the point in having it if we are expected to just avoid it anyways. It adds zero value for gameplay and a really strange result for gameplay. don't you think 5000% increase in HP would be more interesting? and we wouldn't have to avoid them, we could still kill them. There are many things that could replace it to make the game challenging in other ways. |

you're right, what was I thinking.
the Invulnerable to damage mod on Expedition is the greatest gameplay design mechanic in the game. I am an avid connoisseur of the exciting gameplay it provides! I can't wait to avoid blowing up that remnant again! Mobs that are immune to damage entirely, forever? Brilliant! I want to photograph and put that remnant on my wall to admire and adore it for the years to come. |

" Just make sure you're dealing more than 1 damage type at least, you said you deal phys and fire but you couldnt damage them at all, that means you blown up 2 remnants without reading immunites and thats dumb, sorry. They will never have 2 immunities in one remnants, just pay attention. I can do expedition with immunities because i deal 5 damage type so i dont care and play with that one BIG kaboom. I just think that read them is better than asking those mods to be removed. |
