Essences are not dropping when essence monsters are killed

It used to happend before once some time and sometimes not, however today I was able to reproduce it concistently for all the first 3-4 essences in my map

Map is Underground sea
The report reference Number is 754,971,576

as a follow up not a signle essence drop from this map, I checked the filters, modify the filters and also use the alt key to show everything in the map there were no essences to be found the rest of the loot was there items and contracts no currency though

I had a similar thing yesterday where no loot seemed to drop - not even from the map boss. But I had done a Wildwood thingy at the start, so I figured the wisps were eating drops or converting it to gold instead.

You both likely clicked a Wildwood altar that traded all drops for the rest of the map for more experience gained.

The random no essence from time to time is a multi-year old bug either related to explode or something else. But no drops at all is either loot filter/item label or that Wildwood altar.
