i can't wear chestplate anymore

Hi, i've been in the well of souls. I was trying to put random items there so i took of my chest and put in the well but i didn't work so my chest comeback to my EQ but i find out that i can't anymore wear my armor idk why. So i go to market and find out that 90% of armors i can't wear. Actually only one i can use with armor and energy shield. Help me :\

Could you give us more information about your character?

It is incredibly difficult (and time-consuming...) to take blind guesses at which specific interaction might be occurring when we know nothing about your character.

One possibility is that you are a Smith of Kitava who allocated Smith's Masterwork. This would explain why the majority of body armours cannot be used, but a small minority you find can be.

I bet the armour has an attribute suffix that is contributing towards the minimum attribute requirement of the armour itself.

Did you put it on when you had a different gear piece that was providing the attribute requirement, put the chestplate on, and then remove the other gear piece?

You can't remove gear and put it back on if it is simultaneously granting you the attributes to wear itself.

This is why if I find a high attribute-granting amulet in ssf I always keep it in the stash - just in case!
