Question about runes

After the update, you can no longer use duplicate runes. How can I safely remove them?

TLDR: You cannot unsocket them without consequences :D

You can replace them by socketing any other augment but the previous ones get destroyed.

You can safely extract augments in the temple on the Extraction Chamber, it will save them but will destroy the item they were socketed in.
