Dying in an area with a Corrupted Nexus will make the surrounding maps impossible to cleanse

Seems like a bug? Can't really rationalize a decision to make dying in one map permanently affect your ability to complete other maps.

Dying will remove the Corrupted Nexus, which makes it impossible to cleanse the surrounding maps.

Plenty of nexus. you can clear surroundings with corruption, you are just unable to cleanse the area.

That was what I said- it's impossible to cleanse them. I'm aware that you can clear them, but that's not what I'm talking about. Dying in a Corrupted Nexus affects your ability to complete other maps. If it's intentional, it's a truly baffling decision.
