Desecrated waystone - nice

I saw some cool desecrated waystones on the market.
Why havn't I come across something like this yet? How do you desecrate a waystone with Abyss mods? Why not add a mechanic into the Abyss, to desecrate & corrupt waystones? Similar to how the VAAL temple has devices which can alter items, Each endgame enemy type could have something similar to modify a waystone with additional mods for its type.
