USA cracking down on TENCENT. How do you think this might effect POE and POE2?

I am very curious what people think about:
1) Tencent buying GGG 8 years or so ago.... 2) How you think the game(s) have been impacted since they bought it... 3) What the USA's crackdown on game companies wholly or in part owned by TENCENT will effect the games you love? very curious.... " It's currently being claimed that top US officials are deliberating on whether or not tencent poses a security risk in the US, and it's possible it could lead to the exact scenario that happened with tiktok, where games such as PoE are forced to divest in the US if they want to legally operate in the US. So yea, it's very possibly a serious issue for GGG, which are almost completely owned by tencent. |
