travel to hideoh bug on trade

Every time I find an item I want to buy and try to go to the player's hideout to get it, I get an error saying I don't have a character on my account, but I only have one account and one character.

This usually means you're logged into the wrong Path of Exile account, such as if you have a (usually empty) account associated with your email address but you actually play using a different platform such as Steam, through a different Path of Exile account.
You should log into the website using the same credentials you use to play the game, and should be able to see your characters at the top left of the page while logged in. I hope this helps! | |
