Use for race rewards - primarily the demigods

Posted this in the suggestions forum completely forgetting we had this forum now.


Has there been thought of creating some sort of recipe involving the demigod wreaths, or perhaps even the alternate art uniques?

I understand they are supposed to be collector's items, but the sheer volume of races and the fact the same demigod has been used in two seasons now means, no one really places any value on the item when it comes to trades, even though the item is still relatively difficult to get for non-top racers.

Similarly for the alt-art uniques, especially with the introduction of the post race lottery.
The jewellery has its use as it can be converted into a level 100 base (though whether this is intended is still up in the air I think), but the rest of the items have extremely limited utility other than filling up stash tabs and potentially forcing people to buy more (I'm on to you, you fiends!).

I'm proposing a vendor recipe that can utilize these items in some way, or at the very least the demigods. I'm sorry to say that I don't have a suggestion as to potential details for such a recipe at this moment.

What I have been thinking is a demigod set thing that makes you look pro for standing in towns lol. I honestly stopped caring about demigods already they take too much stash space without any value or use.

Pretty much this.
I am already giving my Demigods to friends without winning that many.

They got no use and only some visual value but that's it.

If a set is what they're working towards, and trends show that they are, something like 5-10 demigods of one type to craft an alternate demigod of your choice (once future ones come out) might be an acceptable recipe.

Demigod wreath would be bis base item for a life/regen build if you could scour it.

Wish we could scour uniques in general for that matter.

Thats the point. 20aa instead of armor/evade thats next to useless since the build makes no attempt to stack or multiply secondary defenses. Cheaper to craft as well, since fewer non-life prefixes would be able to spawn with all the armor/evade/es mods out of the affix pool.

And its fine looking too!
