Resetting Trial Progress because of a game crash

I made it all the way to the end of the 4th Ascendency trial of Sekhema, and my game crashed in the middle of the fight with Zarohk. In every other area of the game you just log back in the fight and can continue.

But no, not here after clearing this HORRIBLE content that you are forced to do. I can not stand this content. It is an awful system.

The challenge runs are all great for people who want to participate in this content. But locking progression and ascendancy points behind it is dumb and extra punishing for us melee enjoyers.

This actually has just completely killed my will to play this game at all. If I had failed due to my own error or bad play that's fine and can live with that, go again.

But a d/c and full reset after forcing myself to do content I simply don't enjoy.

I think this is probably the most ethical and best gaming company that exists in a sea of microtransaction first, gameplay later studios.

I love 99% of the game it's actually really impressive and probably the most content of any early access game out there as most are just money grabs and bullshit.

But holy shit the idea of even having to do that trial one singular more time during this league or the next one makes me simply not even want to play.

Which is unfortunate as I'm really enjoying everything else. But being forced to do content I loath to progress rubs me the wrong way.



TLDR; Trials suck. Bad Content. D/Cs suck more. Writing angry forum post better option than throwing computer through wall.
