What mouse do you use?

Never used an “mmo” mouse but contemplating one.
Saw the Corsair Scimitar and Logitech 502 hero. Don’t have anywhere to actually see how these feel, manly around how natural it is to use the button setup to do many of your skills with your mouse hand. Thoughts? Preferences? Last bumped on Mar 16, 2026, 3:54:06 PM

I'm using logictec mx705 marathon. I preferred the mx420 but i cant find
it anymore. why I like it? two reasons: form factor. Its shaped like my hand/ and there are 4 excellently placed programmable buttons. the mousewheel can be clicked both left and right, apart from also being a wheel. I set these buttons to activate skills that I prefer on the mouse. there are two additional buttons on the left side of the mouse, thumb activated. I am able after long practice to use 5 skills and also manuver with my right hand alone. the left is playing piano with flasks and also the remaining two skills I allocate to 'q' and 'w' because my left hand is already hovering above the number keys ready to play piano. I have also enjoyed using the programmable buttons as control groups for RTS games, like sc2. no need to go full mmo mouse, the action is to fast to remember where you set each skill. its gotta be fast, natural, muscle memory. my right hand after training can use 5 attacks, and movement. the left is all about piano and the two remaining skill slots. (in poe1 the left was a lot busier playing piano.... its sort of lazy in poe2. 2 flasks right?) |

7-12 can be hard to reach on the razer ones.
the corsair scimitar lets you slide it forward/back to make them more reachable BUT my scroll wheel committed sudoku really fast. 6 is plenty for poe though. just a heads up they are heavy as fuck, especially if you are coming from something like a 30-40 gram FPS mouse. i personally just use a normal mouse outside of WoW. Well I had a Logitech G600 for a long time and really liked it. It died a while back and those really aren't around anymore. I mean I saw some listed at ridiculous prices, but my G600 was super cheap when I bought it new.
Looking around for a new I guess we'll just call it "mmo mouse" the options were pretty crap in my opinion. The only thing I saw the looked remotely interesting to me was the NAGA Wireless. However, back in the day I had a few wired NAGA's and the first one was fine lasted a few years. The 2nd and 3rd ones both died really fast so I was not really happy about the lack of options. The 2nd one lasted 3 months and the last one died during the first 30 days so I got a refund. I ended up getting the wireless naga despite not really wanting to roll the dice at that price. It's been solid thus far, but I wouldn't recommend it due to price. At this point I've had it 5 or 6 months so not super long term. It really irritates me because the NAGA's were already like $70 when they were "wired" and when I bought my Logitech it was like $30.... and lasted many years. There are various other MMO mice on the market but I have large hands and prefer a certain layout. Oh and if you do get something like the naga even though it was a pain to get I recommend the charging dock. It lets you recharge wirelessly and is a good place to put the mouse when you aren't using it. When I got mine the only place you could really get it was the Razer website and then you had to wait for it to come from Taiwan. However, that just adds even more to the price which is already stupidly high. Last edited by Antarious#5648 on Mar 15, 2026, 8:17:00 AM

Razer Deathadder V2.
Been my fav for about 15 years. My pinky has managed to wear a hole on the right side of my latest one. This is my 3rd one in I think. I tend to eventually wear out the right click from tapping (drumming) on it. Bad habit. Last edited by ImMobile2010#0431 on Mar 15, 2026, 9:44:50 AM
