Yeaaaaaaaaah. This game might be more beginner friendly than PoE1
But when you add league mechanics like Vaal temple. Many people will be scratching their heads around learning complex mechanics and to avoid intuitive stuff like killing architect = can be bad. There is so much that is unnecessarily convoluted. Why do we need 3 diff items to desecrate an item if its an armour, jewellry or weapons? There is so much stuff that is completely unnecessary in this game, that also requires micro managing in stash. Many QoL changes missing. 1. Shift + Left click to ID items without having to click ID scroll first. 2. Ctrl + Right click to drop item on ground. 3. Vaal orbs corrupts not being displayed on the item. 4. Not having a mini currency tab on char for the crafting orbs we use all the time. 5. Sprint mechanic still very clunky. 6. Support skill system is not explained well what works with what. 7. Blocking WASD movement when using snippet tool. 8. Custom affinities for stash tabs so we can decide where stuff goes. 9. Some words are explained others are left unexplained even when clicking alt. 10. Improvements for SSF would also be highly appreciated. Last bumped on Mar 14, 2026, 2:45:15 PM

" Why would one item for desecration be better? --- In case You`re going to refer to vaal orb or any other orb as crafting material remember that vaal orb comes with great risk and frankly most of other currency too. Tbh, during desecration You choose 1/3 or 1/6 mods without any real risk. Given that, the real question is whether all gearslots should be valued the same during desecration. I think the decisions are based on money. A small % of players buy cosmetic MTX. Nearly all players who play the game past campaign are required to buy stash tabs. This means if they can bloat the pool to require more tabs then a small purchase across the entire playerbase is a big source of income.

" 1. Less confusion for new players. 2. Completely unnecessary to have multiple items that do the exact same thing dont you think? 3. Adds clutter to an already extremely cluttered game. There are 100+ 1 slot items in the game already. Reducing them means less micro managing picking them up, sorting and using them. There are more reasons but I'll stop here. What do you think about it? |

" Yeah thats also mental. Simplify some stuff. Dont make it D4 stupid with only 1 slot items. But some stuff in this game is plain badly implemented. |

" 1 - I don`t see anything confusing here. Is tooltip unclear or something? 2 - While function is the same, gain/advantage is not. Otherwise all ancients/preserves would cost the same and they don`t(not sure if they have different droprates tho). Including significantly lesser risk of desecration compared to other materials i actually can see that universal desecrator would be too strong. 3 - Yup, clutter is a problem but it would take much more than universal desecrator to solve it. Also if it would indeed turn out to be op, id rather have stash cluttered a bit without broken meta. It`s no coincidence omen of homogenising lasted one season.
