Influencing Scarab of Interference loot lost during Elder Guardian phase transition

I encountered a small but frustrating loot issue during the Elder – The Eradicator boss fight when using Influencing Scarab of Interference.

During the first phase of the fight, the scarab spawned its additional boss as expected. I killed that boss and it dropped a Nightmare Map. Unfortunately, right after the drop appeared, the Elder encounter transitioned into the second phase where the arena changes. Because of the phase transition, the dropped item remained in the previous arena and became impossible to pick up.

Since Elder guardians have arena transitions between phases, this seems like it could potentially happen with the other three Elder guardian fights as well.

Would it be possible to address this in one of the following ways?

Have the scarab boss loot drop at the end of the encounter instead of immediately

Spawn the scarab boss before the Elder guardian fight begins

Or place the scarab boss in the third (final) arena phase

While a Nightmare Map is not a particularly high-value drop, this still feels like a loot loss issue that could affect players using this scarab.

Just wanted to report it in case it hasn’t been noticed yet. Thanks!

If the scarab boss is not killed during the first phase, it appears that the boss remains permanently trapped in the first arena after the Elder Guardian transitions to the next phase.

Since players cannot return to that arena, the scarab boss effectively becomes unreachable for the rest of the fight.

Poor guy is basically imprisoned in phase one forever.

I'm playing on the Taiwan server, so this account does not show any challenge.

If I were trying to solve it from a technical perspective, one possible workaround might be spawning the scarab boss in the location where the Elder normally consumes the map boss, rather than during the phase-based arenas.
