rare monsters

it feels bad when you go up against a rare that randomly pops up and oneshots you even though you have a solid defense and full hp and energy shield. maybe fix the random modifiers to not alow the ocasional poop up of the ground and oneshot out oif nowhere rare monsters. honestly at this point rare monsters are more dangerous than bosses, witch feels kinda wrong. not sure if this is iuntentional but if it isnt pls fix it. If it is intenional pls change

Yup.
You can get some crazy mods that just suck. Pretty much any enrage, extra damage- cause its not like they get 10% extra damage, they probly get a roll between 25% and 50%, which is insane. Enraged mob with 35% extra damage as chaos and hinder aura. Wow, fun. There should be a system in place with values to these mods, and a rare can only get x count of mod power. Say 10, then a hinder aura is worth like 8 points, extra damage is worth say 5 depends on type, so you can't have those two together as they would exceed 10. Then you have some sort of balance for strong and weak mod combos. Cause you can get map mods of +25% chaos, then the rare can roll another +25% chaos... so uh, a tier 1 may feel like a tier 10. Honestly the tiers make absolutely zero sense. A blue tier 1 and a yellow tier 1... well, whats a tier 1 actually? Cause a blue tier 1 with 2 mods is wildly different than a yellow with 6. I mean seriously, how is that balanced. Its ridiculous. Regardless if mob base changes, the range is pretty damn wild. |
