Scroll wheel clicking

Yo yo, it seems like a repeating question in the game at this point, but the answer seems to be given in Pm's, so I'll ask as well.
I am using a steel series mouse, with a scroll wheel that moves 1 click at a time, no auto spin or anything like that. Steelseries has an app where I can rebind scroll up and down to left click. For everyone else's benefit, unless GGG has changed its policy as long as it's a clicky wheel you can bind to up/down. Empyrion (one of the best known giga-juiced group play players in the game) has been doing it for years for loot pickup and has posted screenshots of his communications with GGG on the matter.
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, weighing all things in the balance of reason?
