Hex Bloom Support big packs causes instance freeze

Hi,
when casting this combo:
Bane + Punishment + Temporal Chains + Despair + Hex Bloom Support
and then kill any of the monsters affected by the curse combo the instance freezes for several seconds and sometimes i get disconnected.

The instance freeze duration is based on the size of the pack the curses can bloom to.

I also use Contagion + Blight of Contagion, no idea if that affects this in any way.
