Cannot loot on controller on PC

as the title says, I can loot when its small amounts but when I get a big loot explosion my x button stops working on controller to pick up loot and cant pick anything up. even when using the thumbstick to scroll up and down the pile

please fix this ASAP, I am unable to play with KB and M due to medical reasons, cheers
