Scarab (of awakening & Interference) sometimes dont get used when opening a map

Running a Boss rush strat using 3 carto scarabs & awakening & interfernce, i setup 20 of each, my cartographys are down to 7 after 13 maps & awakining is only down to 13. The scarabs dont get used in some cases & the mechanic is not spawned in. Running this in citysquare with maven on map device & sirus maps.
