Horticrafting New change elemental damage not working for jewels

The new Horticrafting bench utilizing 1x Crystallised Rancour and 500 lifeforce "Change a modifier that grant x damage into a similar-tier modifier that grant y damage", where x and y are different elemental types of damage, do not work on x damage over time multiplier jewels, although these mod both have the (cold or fire) tags as well as the damage tag, resulting in a "There are no valid Mods for this craft on this item".

This however works on weapons (for example a 2 handed staff) which have with the same modifiers and the same tags, so it must be a bug affecting only jewels.
