HC - All scarabs vanish from atlas if you die

I only play HC and forever, when you leave a stack of scarabs in your map device, if you die, all the scarabs remained in the map device.
In the new system, after I died, I lost ALL my scarabs that I had in my map device. I think this is a bug. It is as if the game is treating the scarabs in the map device locally to my character that died, instead of globally to all my characters. Last bumped on Mar 10, 2026, 5:41:05 PM

Map device slots are tied to the character, as they were before.
Or do you mean the large inventory on the left? |
