Threads of the Originator failed to progress

I am currently at the quest objective that requires speaking to Eagon within my hideout to apply an astrolabe. Upon selecting him, the only active option opens a set of portals to the memory tear, and upon entering I find Eagon and Zana standing there. Nothing happens and the quest fails to progress.

This renders my unable to use astrolabes on my atlas, which I'd really rather like to do.

UPDATE: Standing there and waiting while I typed this out has caused the quest to progress. Issue resolved.
