abyss scarab and astrolabe

I was running abyss astrolabe on jungle valley and wanted to try the abyssal depths scarab, 2 maps in a row resulted in 0 abyssal depths.
Also every 2nd or 3rd map it tells me i failed the astrolabe quest thingy when i'm in the middle of completing an abyss. Bug Report ID: #145 461 669 Last bumped on Mar 12, 2026, 5:21:16 AM

I'm getting the depths however but the Astrolabe fails when an Abyss pit opens to close to terrain and the monsters can't spawn fast enough. I'm killing everything almost instantly when it spawns so its not a DPS issue.
Seems to be a hidden timer that isn't accounting for spawn rate |
