Bot farm

I have heard through the discords that there is a bot software out there that lets your character follow or farm stuff autonomously. If you need to find the discord where this tool is shared I might be able to help but, my reason for coming here is to ask if you guys are doing something about it or like, just assume that league resets deal with this.

With all the AI tools today, its certainly easier to bot but it should also be easier to detect botting. I even heard that you can train AI to identify people no matter which account they play on. Theres alot of opportunities here to slay all the botters forever and Im ruining my health over here trying to compete with real money buyers and bots.

My plan for playing this game is gonna change depending on your response to this. If you guys cant fight the bots, I will just play sff or even leagueless hc ssf or because whats the point?

That is literally every online game. People will cheat to get an advantage. Just play and do your own thing. There is nothing you can do to prevent it and dont expect a response from GGG. They do ban waves and do ban botters/people that are using 3rd party tools. Unfortunately, other people get banned too for using tools that are for graphic improvements like widescreen support. This is well known.

Also the botters have tools like AI as well to make it seem like a human is playing. So it will be cat and mouse forever. It plagues most major games so you better get use to the idea or dont play online.

SSF is a horrible experience because the game is built around trade. Good luck with that.

I hate the bots and the abuse but it's question of resources too. Would you rather they devote resources to improving the gameplay...our banning all the botters? Maybe they can handle both to a degree but I'd rather they spend more of their time fixing gameplay problems and developing new content.

I'm not sure it's so easy to catch them all either, and if they're using AI to catch AI cheaters that's just going to lag the game servers even more...dunno, its a tough problem to tackle for sure.
