Lost all of my items

I was hacked and all of my items and Divine Orbs disappeared. Path of Exile says they cannot help me. Is this correct?

Unfortunately, it is indeed Grinding Gear Games's policy not to restore lost items in any circumstances.

You can just kill monsters to get more items, but you should check your account security and update passwords. If you don't understand how you got "hacked", using the same password on many sites causes vulnerabilities as does using unknown third party software.
