" What's the supposed issue here? Modifiers that only apply to Fire Resistance apply to Cold and Lightning Resistance at half effect. Modifiers to all Elemental Resistances don't have extra effect on Cold and Lightning resistance as a result of Tasalio, Cleansing Water--they continue to apply at 100% of their effect, not being boosted to 150%. Because of that, we can't assume that your Cold/Lightning Resistance should benefit from exactly half of your total modifiers to Fire Resistance, but it should be fairly close; let's check. In your screenshot, you have 178% uncapped Fire Resistance. Accounting for the campaign penalty of -60% to all resistances, your total Fire resistance modifiers after the penalty amount to +238%. Half of 238% is 119%. Accounting for the campaign penalty again, your Cold/Lightning resistances would be estimated to be around 59%. Because you have sources of +all Elemental Resistances on your passive tree, the result is slightly higher, at 65%. It looks like Tasalio, Cleansing Water is working just fine. |
