Loot click detection feels delayed

Since the start of the 3.28 league, picking up items from the ground feels inconsistent.
Items cannot be picked up immediately by clicking on their label. I need to hover the
cursor over the item label for a short moment before the click registers.

Before 3.28, it was possible to quickly click items while moving without needing to
wait for the label to fully highlight.

Reproduction Steps:
1. Drop or find an item on the ground
2. Try to immediately click the item label while moving
3. The click often does not register unless the cursor hovers over the label briefly

Expected Result:
Items should be picked up immediately when clicking their label, as in previous versions.

Actual Result:
The item is not picked up unless the cursor stays on the item label for a short moment.

I've noticed this as well, definitely feels different from before. A lot of times my clicks will move me instead of picking up the item, even though im hovering over it directly.
This has been driving me mad. I've been trying to do Blight this league and the chests will explode with oils and I have to wait between clicking each one otherwise I click through the item nameplate and just walk around in circles.
It feels absolutely horrible.
It feels like I'm being asked "Are you sure you want to pick up this item?" on every single click.
It's been driving me crazy as well, especially when doing lot of bubble currency farms.
It honestly killed my mood to play after 3 days between this and the server issues and I think I'll wait until it's fixed or next league.

I'm happy to report that it seems to be fixed with 3.28.0 Hotfix 15!

Fixed a bug with hovering ground item labels where they wouldn't highlight immediately under certain conditions.

It's shocking how such a small difference can have such a drastically negative effect on the feel of the game. So glad it's been fixed!
