The Wolf Pack

I like the druid. The werewolf form is a lot of fun but the only gripe I have is the lack of tank in the beginning so you cant really start with it.
The other thing is the wolf pack minions. You can only get wolves when you mark then with the leap and kill them. I think this is a bit clumsy. I think that it should be an ability that gives you wolves like skeletal minions. You have a permanent wolf to start with and as you level the gem, or you level up, it will add more wolves to the pack giving you that wolf pack feeling. I don't play league at all but Naafari is a great example (game designer by study so I always like to keep my eyes on cool ideas). You start off with 2 that re-spawn after time when they die and they work in tandem with you and your abilities. The wolves could be the same. Start with 1 and maybe end with like 10 or so. Maybe with the missing ascendancy they can all have unique abilities and attacks that make them different from one another in the pack. If this changes I can see it being a lot more fun to play Werewolf. I assume the missing ascendancy is going to be for shapeshifting also? Last bumped on Mar 11, 2026, 5:34:45 AM

There's a spirit gem that manifests a wolf pack as a companion.
"Some call him a genius. Others, a monster. The truth is usually somewhere in between.
Me? I say power like his comes with a cost... and it's never the one wieldin' it who pays." - Delwyn, re: Doryani |

As well as the spirit gem, there's the cross slash ability which activates a mark. You can use it with pounce to trigger the mark and get a wolf.

" I know that that was what I was criticizing. There needs to be a more permanent wolf system that doesnt require killing enemies. |

What gem is this?
I was thinking more something substantial to be fair |

Wolf pack should be a skill and not Companion. Also cost should be 30 spirit instead of 60 and be allowed to be combined with other companion skills without restrictions.

My only gripe with the wolves is they are destroyed on weapon swap, even from wolf-talisman to wolf-talisman. Otherwise I think they work quite well.
