Mirage doesnt spawn Veritana Portal

I did a strand map with veritana on it. The boss area was in the mirage area, the boss worked fine, the portal to veritana opened, but after the veritana fight (within the mirage) the portal back to the boss area didn't spawn. the only way to get back is using the teleport or quitting out
