Cannot socket Originator Voidstone into Atlas Voidstone Slot

Bug Description:
I obtained the Originator Voidstone, but I am unable to socket it into the Voidstone slot in the Atlas.

What happened:
After acquiring the Originator Voidstone, I opened the Atlas and attempted to place it into an empty Voidstone slot. However, the item cannot be placed into the slot. Dragging the Voidstone onto the Atlas slot does nothing, and it remains in my inventory.

Same, any solutions?

Are you unable to place it in its slot in the top-left of the Atlas?
OP's wording made it seem like they may have been trying to place it into a different slot.

While they remove watchstone and make voidstone atlas-wide, this patch is just backward

I have the voidstone but the upper left slot is locked... I'm currently clearing a shaped region for Eagon, hopeful that this completion of the questline will somehow unlock the slot.

Alright a guild mate came up with a solution that worked for me. I had the voidstone and kept it in storage. Guild mate told me to ctrl+leftclick the voidstone. And zip the voidstone flew into the slot.

This does let me place the stone in the slot. But it does NOT alter the maps in the region in any way.

Which slot are you referring to? There's a storage slot for voidstones that do not affect the maps, located right above the map storage tab. And the slot that is in each corner for each of the 4 voidstones.

If ctrl clicking into one of the 4 corners, and the map tier on the atlas does not change to 16's for that region, then it may be a UI bug. Put the voidstone back into storage/inventory, relog, then try again in the appropriate corner.

If that still doesn't work, include screenshots.
