Shcokwave totem of authority + Astral Projector

I heard that Shockwave Totem of Authority does not work with Astral Projector. Could you please confirm whether this is intended behaviour or a bug?

It reads as intended behavior to me.
Shockwave Totem of Authority already casts around a targetted location (the player) instead of around itself.

The "instead of around you" part of Astral Projector can be interpretted as "instead of around the caster". Shockwave Totem works with Astral Projector because it casts the nova around itself. Shockwave Totem of Authority does not--and to suggest that Astral Projector should work with it, is also to suggest Astral Projector should not work with Shockwave Totem.
