BEAST CRAFT ALPHA - broken

I am playing the replace suffix make a prefix and vice versa beast crafting. It worked once for both and now it says 'requires rare item' but it is rare.

Recipes that have items they will or won't work with will always detail those requirements when moused over as you're showing.

The actual reason you cannot use these recipes at the moment is that you lack the required beasts.
Every recipe requires some number of Yellow Beasts. You've used up the last of your yellow beasts, so the indicators for "Any yellow beast" on the right of the recipe are greyed out.
