Hive Fortress in Mirage doesn't have a portal to leave the fortress

I went into a Mirage which had access to a Hive Fortress. I did all 26 waves and made it back to the same location as I came in but there was no portal to leave. F7 worked but I guess that's probably not the intended way to leave after doing the waves.
