Lost Connection to Server - Rolled Back all my Loot and Ended the Map

I disconnected while mapping, when I logged back in..the map was closed and I had none of the loot I picked up while on the map. The map is gone from my inventory, so I'm guessing it crashed and closed? Am I just used to PoE2 where it saves your map if you DC or is this odd?

Edit:

- I logged back in immediately
- It did say the server connection ended

Based on this I think the server instance crashed and so yes, we lose everything because loot is technically a part of the instance until you portal out and stash it.

Log error: Abnormal disconnect: Game server lost contact with the realm.
