Multiple copies of Ridan the Afarud

Palace map, a mirage near the boss area had an option for Ridan the Afarud accompany the boss, which I selected. Ridan indeed spawned with Dominus. I killed Ridan first, then damaged Dominus to phase transition. And then Ridan spawned again with the second form of Dominus.

Not that I mind getting 2 swords and 2 bariyas, but I don't think this is intended. Also makes me wonder how many copies of Ridan would spawn if this happened, for example, in a Port map.
