Map Divice destroys maps!

Today I lost 4 blight maps by moving them with a right click into the map device. The maps could not be started, and when I removed them again, they disappeared from my stash shortly afterwards. Has anyone else had this problem?

Just had an issue with a T11 map just getting eaten by the device. NO portals opened and the map is gone.
