I'm giving up on playing poe 1 on PS5.

I give up.
Playing PoE 1 on PS5 is impossible. I just wanted to be able to play the game I love after a tiring day at work, but I can't. The game just keeps crashing. It can be the PS4 or PS5 version, I can put it on any server, I can even play with an old character, but playing the campaign is impossible. I've tried everything I've seen on the internet and nothing has worked. The only way is to abandon PoE 1. At least I can play PoE 2. I can also play games from competitors. I really wanted to play the new league tomorrow, but the way things are, it's impossible. Good luck to those who stay. Maybe one day it will be playable on PS5 again and I can play this game that I love so much.

Sorry to hear those struggles. I only crash like once a month these days. Also normal PS5 here. Since you say you tried both PS4 and PS5 versions I guess you tried reinstalling either?
I'd uninstall both versions and restart the console (or power it down whatever, just don't instantly try to download again) when the new version download is ready and give the newest install another try. Good luck.
