Cant join game or loading time took forever !

I’ve been playing this game for a long time and have never had any issues before. Today I met another player and joined their session. After joining, the game’s loading screen took forever. I can still log into my other characters, but now whenever I try to enter that specific character, I can’t because the loading screen just keeps going indefinitely.
