Poison Bow and single target

The way poison works, every viable poison bow build has to use Toxic Growth for bossing. There is no proper alternative.
For clearing packs, we have poisonburst arrow, gas cloud, spiral volley, even toxic growth... so many possibilities...

For bossing? Toxic growth or bust.

My problem is that I want to play an archer, not a gardener. I want my bow to shoot horizontally, not cheese bosses by stacking a stupid amount of AoE damage instances, but it seems to be incompatible with poison and bossing at the moment.

Could we have active or support gems making this possible? I love poison bow above everything but I can’t play it anymore because I absolutely hate toxic growth and how it works.

I use Corrosion to break armour. I have it on Toxic Growth but it will work on any poison skill. Once you break armour everything melts.

Bleed, I put that shit on everything.

Just can't beat that Toxic Growth has up to 300% increased poison damage on each explosion.

Poison is Damage over Time and one thing POE players hate is spending time waiting for a monster to die.

Frankly I’m not asking for a single target skill that deletes bosses.
But there has to be a middle ground between evaporating a boss with Toxic Growth and chipping away at its life with poisonburst arrow.

I just want a poison bow bossing gameplay that doesn’t always involve TG as a main skill. It feels bad to use when you want to feel like an actual archer. It’s static, ponderous, the opposite of agility and mobility. It was the same for lightning archers : rods or bust.

With Vine arrow we’re already planting stuff anyway. Stop making us plant things, I beg you.
