Please bring back this modifier to the game: "Natural Rare Monsters in Area are in a Union of Souls with the Map Boss." And also add some new ways to increase difficulty in the game. 0.4 felt very bland in this aspect.
Even a top-tier Temple isn't impressive in terms of content difficulty. I'm guessing that either efficiency has diminishing returns on added damage, or damage simply scales much weaker than HP. Because of this, enemies feel like dull tin cans. (Edit: There's no damage increase here at all.) I don't need currency or valuable rewards. Just give me the chance to challenge my builds and improve them for content that actually poses any difficulty. i agree, even the 6 man 700 effectiveness temple doesnt hit that hard

The goal was to compensate that they reduced map density by 40% to allow more slower build to perform in end game.
So they added 40% life, drops and XP to not loose on XP and drops mostly i believe. I'm still not sure how i feel about that, kinda miss previous density but also it's not as bad as i tought it would be before to try it. The atlas will be completely rework as i understood for 0.5. Mark said they might add some nodes that give previous density and less effectiveness and vice versa. Maybe they will add toughness, would be interesting. It's in test atm i believe and need refining. SSF player
