Staggering Palm skill literally flashbangs me

This happens in a lot of maps (some specific areas that I remember are: Bluff, Caldera, Breaches) and it makes it literally unplayable as it constantly flashbangs me by creating a big orb of light when it hits enemies. I guess this also gets worse because my character has a lot of AOE.
