Twitch drops collected but VFX not available in-game

Dear support,

I have my Twitch and PoE accounts connected, have watched enough Twitch streams to collect the Mirage Weapon Effect drop and I can see in Manage Account that there is a tick mark next to it. It also shows as claimed on Twitch. However, there is no VFX available in-game regardless of what weapon I slot. It displays the "You have no microtransactions that can fill this slot" message. Is there a work around this? Thank you.
