Introduction of rare-tier currencies/scarabs affects console trade league significantly.

Console trade already operates with a much smaller player base and thinner market. When strategies require consistent scarab investment, the available listings often aren’t there and when they are, prices are disproportionately high due to low competition and limited bulk supply. Even without any direct rarity changes, the practical effect is the same: strategies that are sustainable on PC become unreliable or economically unviable on console.
The same concern applies to the three new coins. If they are tuned to be rare, console trade may struggle to circulate enough of them to make the mechanic feel accessible. Low drop frequency combined with low market volume creates artificial scarcity that doesn’t reflect effort but instead small ecosystem size. On console, scarcity scales differently. What feels rare on PC can feel effectively unobtainable in a smaller economy. If new currencies and scarab-reliant strategies don’t account for that difference, it sidelines a significant portion of the console trade player base. Ultimately, crossplay would be my favored solution. Although consideration into increasing quantities of specifics (scarabs specifically) would be very appreciated I would imagine.
