I hate Trial of Sekhemas

topic has been beat to death but i will rant yet again.

This is the third time i freaking lost my trial run for my 3rd ascendancy at the last boss.

fuck that boss and that boss area.

Ooh you dodged all the bosses jumping attacks?
well too bad because the arena is now filled with quicksand, so you are slow as shit. oh you are playing a melee build that requires set up? well too bad you should've made a pure ranged build instead.

And don't worry about trying not to stand in quick sand becasue the boss will stay in the quick sand pool, so you have to get close to him if you are melee! lets hope you don't accidentally step on a trap when you try and dodge too because than the entire arena will be filled with arrows!

I entered this boss with full freaking honour and i still lost it all in 3 hits, even with a full inventory of %honour resistances.
Also im lvl 80 and the enemies were lvl 60.... im way overlevelled for this but the honour system just fucks me in the ass LITERALLY EVERY SINGLE TIME.

Doesn't also help when an afflictions stack up and there is little to no way to remove afflictions. So if you get the affliction "get slowed when an enemy hits you", you are garanteed to lose your run.

trial of sekhemas is like sen's fortress from dark souls but actually 100x more infuriating and not fun.

I know it was kinda stupid question so sorry for that but some players came with very surprising inventions in the past so I just wanted to be sure.

That's why carriers like me can earn nice amount of divines by helping players like the author whose don't want to bother learning nuances of the trial.

Btw, if you overleveled why don't you try trial of chaos? Although there you'd probably nag about Bathlak, the vulture boss. Undead bird boss can also be nasty, truth be told.

Nothing worse than being bullied into taking run-bricking afflictions.

One time I had to choose between "gain an affliction when you gain an affliction" and "you have no armour".

Me, being an armour-only based build, figured it was unwise to remove my primary and only defensive layer.

So I gambled on taking the "gain an affliction when you get an affliction".

It immediately gave me another affliction: "you have no armour".

Good times.

The scorpion was gutted months ago and usually doesn't live past the first stun/freeze etc. If you outlevel it by 20 lvls maybe check your build/gear.
